one of Mán Melá 's shows of the past 7 years

A Mehfil is a traditional poetry gathering and these events celebrate the shared Panjabi heritage of India and Pakistan with poets and actors in Panjabi, English and sign language.

Poets have included Amarjit Chandan (India) and Mazhar Tirmazi (Pakistan) and a range of local poets who are invited to share their work in open sessions. There has also been a visual presentation of famous 20th Century Panjabis and recognition of Panjabi achievers in the community.
