A celebration of his life and writing with Mán Melá Theatre Company.
Introduced by Dr Alastair Niven, OBE.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh described Mulk Raj Anand as a freedom fighter
and one of the founding fathers of the English novel in India. He described Anand's outstanding contributions to Indian literature, both in vernacular
and in English and said his "realistic and sympathetic" portrayal of the
lives of the poor in India would always be remembered.
Mulk Raj Anand is author of classic novels including Untouchable, The Sword
and the Sickle and The Private Life of an Indian Prince.
